Hal O'Leary

 
 

Hal was a ski instructor at Winter Park in 1970, when he volunteered to help with the Denver Children's Hospital amputee program. He developed the program into the National Sports Center for the Disabled where it has become the most comprehensive teaching organization existing today. He was named one of “the best 100 things to happen to skiing” by Ski Magazine. For his achievements, he was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2010.
