Marvin Crawford

 
 

In 1946, at only 14, Marvin won the National Junior Jumping Championship for skiers 18 and under. That same year, he also won the National Junior Alpine Combined Championship, an unprecedented double victory in national junior skiing. After winning the Class “C” Jumping championships for the next 3 years, he went on to represent the US on the FIS Nordic Team at the 1954 World Championships and competed in the 1956 Olympics in Italy.
