James Harsh

From 1917 until his retirement in 1935, Jim was one of the premier ski jumpers and cross-country skiers in Colorado. In 1932, he was named to the US Olympic Team as an alternate, becoming one of Colorado’s first U.S. Olympic Team members.  After moving to Estes Park in 1946, he reactivated the Estes Park Ski Club and helped the club rebuild the old jumping hill and host a number of Nordic and Alpine meets.
